At Mytherial students are able to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. Mytherial allocates a significant portion of its budget to our over 100 clubs.
Here are a few of our most popular clubs:
Elemages Without Borders is a dynamic team dedicated to global impact and open to specialists in all elements. EWB empowers students to strengthen their unique abilities and learn how to apply them to support communities around the world. From stabilizing eroded landscapes and easing drought conditions to aiding in post-volcanic eruption reconstruction, members engage in hands-on fieldwork while gaining cross-cultural experience and honing their elemental skills for humanitarian good.
Growing Gardens is a creative outlet for Elemages to grow useful crops, beautify the landscape, and more. Located just past housing, the gardens are expansive and lovely. After learning to garden, students may sell flowers, seeds, and produce or collaborate with the Cooking Club to create unique dishes with the fruits (and vegetables) of their labor.
The Workshop Club allows students of Mytherial to hone their glassblowing and metalwork skills. Tapping the wisdom of the Tellusology Department, students learn about the properties of glass and metal. Then, incorporating skills learned in the Fire Department, they manipulate these materials to create vases, glasses, blades, and armor. Students also gather their own material from Nibiru to use in their projects.
The Elemage Adventures Club encourages students to step beyond the walls of Mytherial and explore the natural world around them. Students will be given the opportunity to deepen their connection to nature with activities such as hiking and sightseeing. They will also enjoy unique opportunities to hone their abilities in exciting ways like fishing and hunting. Whether you are seeking adventure, reflection, or a way to strengthen your elemental bond, Elemage adventures provides a path into the wild.
Meditative Mytherial offers young Elemages the ability to further expand their Mythera outside of the classroom through yoga, meditation, and more mindful practices. Tapping the vast world of Mythera is crucial to any Elemage’s ability to wield magic, and wellness is the most pleasant and efficient way to enhance capacity!
The Animal Club allows students to explore the wonders of our magical animal kingdom. This organization offers students the opportunity to learn about, care for, and interact with a wide range of magical and non-magical creatures. Through educational workshops, hands-on training sessions, and guest lectures from leading magizoologists, members deepen their understanding of local and global fauna and its role in our world. Whether you’re a future creature caretaker or simply fascinated by fantastic beasts, all are welcome.
The Mytherial Treasury Club allocates money across the school and manages the school budget. In this club, students will decide how much funding each department gets per year. Officers will read through funding requests and approve or deny applications. Members will track expenditures through spreadsheets. The goal of the MTC is to provide transparency to the student body on how money is allocated. Treasury Club participants gain hands-on experience in the financial sector of the Elements.
The Elemage Committee serves as the student-led governing body responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Mytherial community. Composed of elected upper-level students, the committee reviews cases involving breaches of trust, misuse of magic, and violations of Mytherial’s shared values. By empowering students to lead with honor, the Elemage Committee preserves the ethical foundation essential for responsible magical education.
