At the age of 18, a select few children develop a talent for Mythera. These special young people are then admitted to one of the three schools of Magic, Mytherial Institute of Elemental Magic being the most prestigious. Distinguished alumni of Mytherial, known as Elemages, find these magical teenagers through the institution’s state-of-the-art global Mythera flow tracker and invite them to join Mytherial. Since a gift for Mythera emerges randomly, students from every background have this special aptitude.

Students have the option to decline admissions to Mytherial, though the institution boasts a 95% yield rate.

During their first year at Mytherial, students are sorted into one of four elemental disciplines through the famous Elemental Testing Ceremony.
