Timothy “Blaze” McArthur

Head of Pyrology

A legendary figure among the Elemages, Timothy “Blaze” McArthur earned his title through unmatched bravery. During the catastrophic eruption of Mount Agni, it was Blaze who redirected the flow of lava away from the school with a combination of elemental force and strategic terrain manipulation. He was quickly promoted to the head of the Pyrology department, where he has been a mentor and inspiration to aspiring fire mages ever since.  

Jackson Todd

Head of Climate

Jackson Todd is the Head of Climate at Mytherial. He developed a deep fascination with geology from studying rocks his dad would bring home for him from all around the world. He was hired at Mytherial after gaining popularity in the world of academia with his impressive collection of ancient igneous rocks. Since his hiring, he has expanded his research to include the weather, and he takes a deep interest in passing his knowledge on to his students.  

Lexey Knoll

Head of Combat

Lexey Knoll served as a soldier and 5-star general in unit 14 of the Alsteria military. She specializes in pyrotechnic combat and strategy. Knoll returned to Mytherial Institute of Elemental Magic with a strong desire to properly equip students with optimal combat skills, strategies, and leadership required to survive and thrive in a lethal wartime environment and protect the continent of Alsteria. She now serves as Head of Combat. 

Shaylin Ainsworth

Head of Engineering

Ainsworth currently serves as the Head of Engineering for the Pyrology Department at Mytherial. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and later earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies with a specialization in arson. In her role, she is dedicated to equipping students in her department with the knowledge and skills necessary to master every facet of fire science.
